Meet the band...

Adam - Lead Vocals and Guitar

Adam has been performing as a singer/guitarist for over 20 years both here and abroad. He is also an award winning writer and composer for theatre and film. In 2008 he worked for Vista theatre company as musical director on the production ‘Halfway’ which went on to win awards at Buxtons fringe festival and Studio Salford and was later performed at the Lowry theatre.

Adam was a founding member of cult pop/music hall band ‘Mr Johnson’ in the late 90’s. one of the highlights for the band was being asked to record music for Austin Powers 2 by Mike Myers himself.

Adam currently is a full time musician/teacher and songwriter and when he’s not rocking out with Amberjack can be found performing his one man 70’s/80’s show in pubs and clubs up and down the country.



Damon - Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals

Damon has been playing guitar for over 30 years. Last 10 years as Fender UK demonstrator. Performed hundreds of clinics and shows, including British Music Fair, London Guitar Show, Messe Frankfurt and NAMM.Had over 2 Million hits on Youtube. Featured in Guitarist Magazine, on the DVD and Music Radar website.

He has also played live on ; BBC1, ITV, Channel 4, CNN, Nickleodeon, Radio 1, Radio Leicester, Radio Bristol, Radio Devon. Played hundreds of gigs, including T in The Park, Glastonbury and the Phoenix Festival. Regular visiting Lecturer at Royal Northern College of Muisc, ACM, and BIMM, plus al Acces to Music Colleges. Played on sessions and jingles from The Metalheadz to BBC to Marks and spencers! and is a thoroughly nice chap as!



Jim - Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals

In the early days Jim initially learnt to play drums / percussion. He enjoyed several years working in mainly musical theatre and general touring situations including two large productions that toured in key cities around most of mainland Europe. During this period he also worked as a part time audio engineer in a prominent East Midlands based recording studio. However it became obvious that playing bass was where his talents would be best served.

Playing professionally both live and as a session musician from the age of 17, due to an extensive list of live and studio based engagements Jim is well versed in all modern genres of music and enjoys playing Double Bass as well as modern electric bass. He also runs a successful tuition service.



Joe - Drums and Backing Vocals

Brought up into the music industry by musical parents introducing him to live music at only a few months old. Joe has been playing in bands as long as he remembers touring the UK and playing various festivals. In between touring Joe has been in the musical instruments retail business since the age of 16.

He currently is managing one of the UK's biggest drums and percussion retail stores, Drum-Stop.
