Jason North of Jason North Blues Band, Local Heroes and newly formed Blues Boy Kings. The first band is a Blues covers band, playing Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, Freddie King and Elmore James covers. The second band is a modern rock line up featuring Jason North on guitar and vocals, Samantha North (wife) on bass and vocals and Richard Taylor (cousin) on guitar and vocals. Our drummers are fairly fluid, but always of a high standard, and very tight. We have Mark Barrett of blues band 'Hoax' fame, Martin Collins who played with Sean Webster and is currently with Slimline Papas. We have Mike Everett, who although being left handed, is not actually all that bad.... (kidding)! The blues line ups rely heavily on the talents of one Kev Richardson, who at the age of 28 was a child prodigy. He is a fine drummer, guitarist sound engineer and all round good egg. He runs a rehearsal studio in Lincoln and will be branching out shortly in women's underwear. Finally, we have, on Hammond organ, Phil Aldridge. He runs Tabby Road Studios, between Newark and Lincoln. He has produced our first album, Back To East Shore (by Blues Boy Kings) featuring ten original songs by Jason North and the band. Our album is for sale at Never Mind the music Store in Boston's Church Street, right near the Stump. It is also periodically listed on ebay, and will shortly be on itunes.
