Some Details...

We are a Derby 4 piece covers band, embracing all things indie/punk/mod/rock, covering artists such as the Jam, The Clash, Stereophonics, Undertones, Arctic Monkeys, Eddie and the hot-rods, Libertines, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks,Kings of Leon etc, etc.

We have been formed around 15 months and have a dozen or more gigs under our belt, including this year’s infamous Derby Winter Beer Festival, and iconic music venues in Derby, such as The Vic, The White Horse and The Dolphin.

We all work together at Engine Overhaul Services, at Rolls-Royce in Derby. Three of us are in our fifties, Derek Gurney on guitars, Lee Garton on bass and backing vocals and myself Paul Hind on vocals, harmonica and tambourine no less !! Our powerhouse though is the young pup on drums and backing vocals Joe Lambden, and despite being in his thirties, is the most accomplished musician out of all of us.

Hope you can find room to put a piece in the Nottingham Gig Guide, especially as we are coming over to play ‘Larry’s Bar , in Stapleford, on Friday 19th October, fun starts at 9. Feel free to come over or send someone over to write an unbiased review, if you wish?

For us, it’s all about the fun, playing the music we all like to listen too, and there is no bigger buzz, than seeing everyone enjoying themselves and singing along.
