Comedy for the under represented masses!
Have you grown tired of listening to the same middle class, middle age, white heterosexual male complaining about his banal existence? Then you are in luck, because the answer is here and it's Fierce & Fabulous. A high energy gay comedy cabaret extravaganza featuring the best and the brightest of Britain's alternative stand up, musical comedy and drag scene. The comedy event of the season. Suitable for anyone who feels under represented by the main stream and enjoys a rowdy informal party atmosphere.
This big ass party show is hosted by Comedians, Dana Alexander (Russell Howard's Good News) and Jonathan Mayor (BBC Radio) and it is coming to The Glee Club in Birmingham, Nottingham and The Backyard Comedy Club in London in February 12th, 14thand 23rd 2014 just in time to celebrate LGBT History month. With Annette Fagon, David Mills, David Morgan and Rogue 5 the world's 1st comedy boy band. Prepare yourself for Drag battles and debauchery because this is a line up sure to impress. Not for the faint of heart!
The latest recession has provided an opportunity to diversify programming and yet it is not uncommon to be entertained by the A typical insular demographic previously mentioned. Be he middle aged or eager to create the illusion of youth with a "Bieber" type fringe. Unless you fit into this very specific category you are classified as "other" and often times seen as an outsider. Audiences are rationed diluted gay, female, working class or "ethnic" Comedians who are often designed to be seemingly palatable for the mainstream . It's time to mix it up and show another side of the British Comedy. It's time to introduce Stand Up to the underrepresented masses and Fierce and Fabulous is just the show to do it!
