GERRY & THE PACEMAKERS were the first band to have 3 consecutive No. 1's in the UK charts, "HOW DO YOU DO IT", "I LIKE IT" and one of the greatest pop songs ever, "YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE". They went on to have numerous more hits through the 60's, and none more successful than the absolute classic, "FERRY CROSS THE MERSEY", which has been number one in two different decades.
