2012. The Jubilee, London Olympics…the worlds eyes look to the UK this summer to deliver some huge events,

but probably the most anticipated of the year is…A Hard Day’s Pint…the new album from the

“Masters of Parody” (The Guardian) The Lancashire Hotpots.

A Hard Day’s Pint is a laugh out loud musical round up of drinking and good nights out; fifteen tracks covering ever facet from the thirsty anticipation of good times ahead through to the messy end of night kebab!

It’s the ultimate sing-a-long-a, drink-a-long-a album.

And that’s not their only release of the summer as the boys are launching their very own bottled beer! Award winning Lancaster Brewery have teamed up with the band to brew A Hard Day’s Pint limited edition beer to commemorate the release!

The North West’s most loved five piece (since Oasis split) are held with affection by some major movers and shakers including BBC6 Music’s Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins and ITV’s Paddy McGuinness. Previous albums have seen the band hit No.1 in the iTunes charts and No. 2 in the BBC6 Music chart. GMTV, Granada Reports and the BBC’s North West Tonight TV appearances have also all been chalked up for the ultimate laugh out loud good time band.

The Hotpots have appeared twice at Glastonbury in the last three years plus a summer festival appearance at this years Kendal Calling Festival where they shared the stage with Dizzee Rascal and MaximoPark. Their biggest ever UK tour also takes place this winter with visits to London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds, York and Preston.

The Hotpots also joined up with Lancashire Police. The band has recorded a special song and music video to raise awareness of the 'Be Part Of It' Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner elections in November 2012.

2011 saw the band team up with Fiddlers Lancashire Crisps to promote their range of farm cooked crisps. “It’s a dream come true” says lead singer Bernard. “Some singers dream of playing Wembley Stadium, I’ve dreamt of getting free crisps for life. It’s a match made in heaven!”

Tracks from the new album got their first play in public when the band performed at a pre match event at the

new Saints Rugby Stadium with a 18,000+ in early summer.

The Lancashire Hotpot Olympic ideal?

It’s not about the winning, it’s about the laughing.
