The Librarians

Some Details...

The librarians are three guys from Peterborough bringing something original and versatile to the scene. We always put on a good show and get a good response. We’ve been told numerous times that we are one of the most unique bands in the area (Cambs) and have been played on local radio stations such as BBC radio Cambridgeshire and radio Huntingdonshire numerous times.

On more than one occasion, we have however been compared to the view, oasis, the who, the Pogues and The Libertines – “This band share a similarity in sound as well as name with the Libertines. The Lib’s (both the ‘Tines and the ‘Rarians) have an effortless charm that comes with the loose, easy playing of shimmering melodies that are often barely there - and this subtlety makes for a more enjoyable listen.
