MacMillan Appeal Night

Some Details...

In 2011, I will be embarking on an amazing challenge on the Inca trail in Peru in aid of Macmillan cancer support. Currently I am concentrating on getting myself fit for this challenge with the help of my local gym and raising much needed funds for Macmillan cancer support.

I was born in Ilkeston and still live here 53 years later. I have committed myself to raise a minimum of £3500 and I am asking local businesses to support me in reaching this target. In the last five years I have worked really hard to obtain a nursing diploma, which has been my dream for the past 35 years since leaving school. While doing my nurse training I witnessed evidence of all types of cancer related illnesses therefore this is my reason for wanting to help now.

I am organising a Cliff Richard Tribute night (with Shaun Bimpson) and with support band Milo and the TTShakers. This will be at The Festival Inn, Trowel. On 23rd April at 7.30p.m. Tickets are available from me at £10 each and all proceeds will be going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
