Some Details...
The first time Marc and Bee jammed at Lytisha's party, they kept getting asked how long they'd been singing together, and an idea started to form. Joined in 2009 by Chris on bass, the Breezes came into being, and Lytisha's egg-shaking and frog-knocking were soon on board, though she left the band at the end of 2010. The latest addition is Alamootie's Shetland-style fiddler Milli, filling out the sound with a rich folkiness; and with four voices, there's some lush harmonising going on too. The catchy, jiggable songs are mostly Marc's originals, with a good peppering of crowd-pleasing covers, and one or two trad folk songs.
