MILTON JONES - GLEE CLUB 20TH BIRTHDAY - SEPTEMBER 2014
In September 2014, The Glee Club will be celebrating 20 years of bringing live comedy to the masses. To mark this occasion, the one and only Milton Jones brings his very best live material to The Glee Clubs as they celebrate their landmark 20th birthday. Now a huge comedy star of stage, screen and radio, Milton returns to the clubs he regularly played as a circuit headliner.
In his very own words: "There are many impostors, but real comedians think The Glee run real comedy clubs. Comedians like playing The Glee Clubs. Food, drink, nice people to deal with, but mainly good audiences facing the right way."
Milton will be supported at these very special dates by James Acaster. The shows will take place at Glee Club Nottingham, Glee Club Cardiff and Glee Club Birmingham in September. Tickets, priced £15-16.50, are available from www.glee.co.uk

Milton Jones is regularly on Mock the Week (BBC2), has appeared on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1), Live at the Apollo (BBC1) and he has headlined Dave’s One Night Stand (DAVE).
His live tours play to over 100,000 people.
In 2011, Milton’s radio show won a silver Sony Award, as well as winning Chortle Headliner of the Year for his stand up. His radio show was also nominated for a Writers Guild Award in 2012, and he has just been commissioned for his tenth series on Radio 4.
He is a previous Perrier Best Newcomer and Nominee, Sony Award winner and British Comedy Award nominee.
His sitcom pilot The House of Rooms written with Dan Evans went out on Channel Four in January 2012.
Milton has also recorded two hugely successful live DVD’s, Milton Jones – The Universe Tour. Part One: Earth and The Lion Whisperer.
