Spawned from the web of the ever talented Derby music scene the members of Modern Affair are all seasoned musicians in their own right, hand picked and brought together by the bands drummer Al Marchbank.
Collectively the band boasts over 100 years playing/Gigging experience!!! An East midlands based outfit The Modern Affair were created to perform a 'one off gig' at Derbys The Venue in support of The Macmillan cancer trust.
Along with the bands love for Northern soul our sound is driven by the sound of the early 60's, The High Numbers, The Sonics, The Spencer Davis Group, The small Faces, early Beatles & Rolling stones & The mod culture that surrounded it.
