Some Details...
The Johnny Johnstone Quintet has been the resident Tuesday night jazz group at The Bell Inn since it formed in February 1997. They originally performed every other week, but their popularity soon demanded a weekly gig. The Quintet is a Mainstream jazz band, playing mainly the ‘standard’ repertoire of songs from the 1920’s to the 1960’s. The band is always open to suggestions from the crowd, if the song is suitable for the jazz treatment.
