Some Details...

New Tricks is a four-piece Rhythm & Blues band , based in Nottingham. We play a mix of British and American blues and R&B.

We are: Dave Stephenson – Lead Guitar, Rob Johnson –Guitar/Lead Vocals,

J.J. Tombs – Bass/Vocals, Pete Pearson – Drums/Vocals

Dave and Pete have been playing in blues bands around Nottingham for years, Rob is a recent arrival from the North East and Tombs is a Goth, who joined the band by mistake, but he’s such a good bass player that we won’t let him leave…

Turn it Down!!!!
New Tricks are aware of increasing issues with noise pollution, Environmental Health etc., so we aim to play at volumes appropriate to your venue. If you ask us to turn it down, we will be happy to do so. We will not try to make your ears bleed…

Turn it Up!!!!
On the other hand…we have plenty of high powered gear available if needed for larger venues.
