No Tricks was basically formed in 2001, by Rob Brown(Guitars) and Ray Crampton(Bass Guitar).
Rob and Ray experimented with various formats of playing and after several recording sessions, discovered that they had achieved a very full sound for two musicians.
They decided at this point, they needed a vocalist, preferably a female.
Yvonne joined for a short while and collaborated in one of their own compositions, which is still played today.
She then moved on to other things and No Tricks was approached by Mandy Lacey, who did not have much experience, but proved to be an exceptionally versatile singer. The band was now being shaped for the future.
