Nottingham based drumming duo RATTLE reveal the new video for the lead track "Stringer Bell" taken from their eponymous debut album due out on Upset the Rhythm and I Own You on 5 August. The clip was directed by Simon Parfrement, best known for his street photographs and recent videos for Sleaford Mods. The video was premiered by Gold Flake Paint, who called it: "Wonderfully captivating... this is a brilliant appetite-whetter; a short, sharp, preview that shows there really is nobody else like them in the current UK scene."

The band explain more about the video in their own words: "We made this video in Nottingham with Simon Parfrement, best known for his photos and videos of Sleaford Mods. His street photographs are brilliant, he's so subtle and quick at capturing the perfect moments that everyone else has missed or ignored, and giving them strength and emotion. Simon took some great portraits of us two years ago minutes before a flash flood and we were stoked that he wanted to make a Rattle video. We filmed this in the attic of One Thoresby Street, artist studio spaces in Nottingham. Editing drum hits to drum beats was going to be a challenge but Simon has, as usual done an amazing job, the drums look warm and lively and we had fun animating the percussion overdubs. There was even another flash flood, and lightning was flashing on us through the windows as we were filming takes."

Rattle focus almost exclusively on drums and more drums, beneath a delicate overlay of vocal harmonies and percussive effects. Formed by Katharine Eira Brown (also of Kogumaza) and Theresa Wrigley (also of Fists), Rattle began as an experiment in crafting rich songs and melody using drums and voice alone. Their music weaves and intertwines post-punk, minimalism and experimental rock, through off-kilter rhythms, patterns and counter melodies. Their live performances are at once hypnotic, monastic and danceable, having entranced audiences at Supersonic Festival, Dot to Dot, throughout the UK during a recent tour with Witching Waves and in Europe with Zea (Arnold de Boer from The Ex).
