Ready Steady 60s – from Merseybeat to Carnaby Street - three guys on a mission to bring back the upbeat songs that provided the soundtrack to the era of the mini (cars and skirts!), mods and rockers, the erosion of the class divide and Terylene slacks! The band captures the rock ‘n’ roll energy and crafted three part harmonies that made British bands the best in the World.
Fab, Groovy and Gear - Ready Steady 60s ‘beat combo’ bring the sound of the Sixties totally live to your pub, club, festival, celebration or event.
We play top hits by The Beatles, The Kinks, The Monkees, The Ronettes, The Searchers, Sandie Shaw, The Rolling Stones and many more, and we’re adding to our repertoire all the time. All of the songs are genuine 60s material but many have been re-released, appeared in film soundtracks or covered in later decades - right up to the present day.
With an energetic stage act, period instruments, sharp suits and Chelsea boots, Ready Steady 60s will add real excitement to any event. It’s music to dance to, and sing along with. Be transported back into the glorious past of British pop or even visit it for the first time.
