Some Details...
September and October 2026 sees Sixpence None The Richer hit the road, heading to the UK and beyond for what is, unbelievably, ‘The First (Proper)’ European Tour, and hence has been called just that! Featuring the band’s founders, guitarist Matt Slocum and vocalist Leigh Nash, along with bassist (since 1996) Justin Cary, this run offers a rare opportunity to see this massively successful band doing what they do best.
Leigh said, “We are so looking forward to these shows. It’s been far too long!” Matt added, “We’re really looking forward to playing music in the UK/Europe again, it’s been a long time”.
Forming more than 25 years ago, Sixpence None The Richer’s calling card is, of course, the evergreen ‘Kiss Me’, which has helped them to triple Platinum status in US, Platinum in the UK. The song has featured in countless Films and TV shows, and been covered by a huge range of artists – recent versions have been recorded by Lisa of BLACKPINK, Sabrina Carpenter, Kelly Clarkson, Jada Facer and Madilyn Bailey. They have also enjoyed success with their version of the UK favourites The Las’ ‘There She Goes’, and ‘Breathe Your Name’, and ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’. And the story comes right up to date, as Sixpence None The Richer continue to record and release music. Since formally reuniting in 2024, the band has released 3 recordings: ‘Rosemary Hill’ EP, featuring the critically acclaimed video by the same name, 'Dawn of Grace' a Christmas album, and ‘Live At Gruene Hall’, the band's first live album recorded in their hometown of New Braunfels, TX.
Sixpence None The Richer began taking shape in the early 90s when Matt met Leigh at a church retreat. With the release of ‘Kiss Me’ from their self-titled album in 1999 they exploded globally and the band, also featuring bassist Justin Cary, have never looked back. Sixpence None The Richer has never been more popular or in demand. They stand in the Top 1% of Chartmetrics All Time Artist ranking, have had over 2.1 billion streams, and have over 12.5million monthly Spotify listeners.
Coming off the back of a massively successful 2025/6 touring the US, and South and Central America, Sixpence None The Richer have never sounded better. It has taken them more than a quarter of a century to put together this European tour, so don’t miss them!
