The Gate to Southwell Folk Festival is now established as one of the premier events in the Midlands Folk Calendar rivalling other well established festivals and receiving many accolades. Our venue is next to the magnificent National Trust Southwell Workhouse, approximately 13 miles from Nottingham and 8 miles from the A1 and Newark.
