Stagefright
Playing rock covers from bands such as: Foo Fighters, Guns & Roses, UFO, Kings of Leon, Stereophonics, Sex Pistols, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Lenny Kravitz and Black Sabbath.
The Band:
Jinx - Lead vocals & rhythm guitar
Kev - Backing vocals, lead & rhythm guitar
Eddy - Bass guitar
Chay - Lead & rhythm guitar
Jenny - Drums
Stagefright started back in June 2009, after Jenny and Chay, who had been friends for some years, were jamming together and they invited Jinx and Eddy, who had worked together in a previous band for a jam. Kev joined later after his band parted company.
The band are all experienced players and when they first played together everything fell into place. The first gig was in August 2009 at the Red Lion in Hucknall, a charity gig with Gatecrasher headlining. The band haven’t looked back since, going from strength to strength, always trying to improve with every gig.
This year alone having played over 30 gigs so far, in venues such as:
Sitwell Tavern, Running Horse, Chequers, biker bashes, Newcombe Fest, the Old Volunteer and various weddings and birthdays.
Stagefright have a few of their own songs and are currently in the process of writing some more material.
