SWANSONG are a four piece female fronted professional covers band based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Since forming in January 2009, the band have progressed slowly, facing varied obstacles along the way. The musicianship of the band is very high, all members have had a wealth of experience working with other bands, musicians and projects, and so came together to produce a covers band that would prove successful, which it certainly has. SWANSONG is by far the most fruitful and satisfying project collectively for the band and will probably outlast us all - hence the band name!
SWANSONG selected their songs carefully, considering every audience possibility. Songs are personal to each and every one of us, so it is important for the band to deliver them as such. Their repertoire includes songs by Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Gary Moore, Sheryl Crow, Aretha Franklin and many more. The band have a unique sound, boast a stunning guitarist and led by a female vocalist with an excellent vocal range. They love entertaining audiences with their music, fueling passion and feel into their performance. The band's shows are ladened with blistering guitar solos and passion-fueled vocals. SWANSONG do perfect justice to every song they deliver and will continue to grow in popularity as one of Sheffield's finest cover bands!
SWANSONG have a modest history of playing lucrative venues, festivals, corporate events and countless pub gigs. They are ready, prepared and passionate about entertaining. The band is available for private functions and events (weddings, private parties etc). Song requests to make your function extra special are welcome with prior notice.
