'Thoresby Colliery Band'
Thoresby are one of the few remaining colliery bands in the country. Formed in 1948. They are graded in the championship section and are widely respected throughout the European brass movement. Conducted by the irrepressible Stan Lippeat, the band will perform a varied programme of classics and film right through to the modern era.
