Some Details...

Triad is a rhythm and blues trio hailing from Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
The band (which formed in 2007) began as a rock-based outfit but has since changed direction. The only remaining founder member is Jules Freeston, the rock-solid drummer.
In December 2009, the arrival of front man and lead guitarist Malcolm Watson brought a change to the band's style and material. This was enhanced in June 2010, thanks to the arrival of bass player and backing vocalist Scott Clarke.
Triad injects its own style, bringing new life to amazing numbers from the past. The set list includes a selection from great British artists such as Cream, Rory Gallagher, Humble Pie, the Small Faces, and Dr Feelgood, and American roots classics by Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, and many other masters of the blues such has Jimi Hendrix.
Also in the pipeline is a string of classic songs that just might get the Triad treatment, performed in the classic rock 'n' roll way but with that added sparkle that only Triad can provide. When the time is right, the band will write its own material. So many ideas are already flowing through the heads of individual band members. For now, though, the focus is on raising the profile of the band.
Gigging, recording, rehearsing, perfecting and, above all, enjoying...that's the Triad ethos. Over the years Malc,Scott and Jules have amassed considerable experience on the road, in the studio, or just simply playing loud rock 'n' roll...given half a chance! These are musicians who are determined to play and keep alive the classic blues and rock 'n' roll that made British music the greatest.
