White Lion Beer Festival
As promised we've got some more information about our upcoming beer festival on 11th-13th July 2025
We're trying to keep a family friendly atmosphere as we always do in our pub and keeping a focus on the appreciation of the real ale but we've also got a little bit of entertainment lined up too!
๐ป Firstly and most importantly the beer! ๐ป
26 Ales: 20 will be racked in the old brewery and 6 will be inside the pub on the hand pumps alongside our house ales, Bass ๐บ and The White Lion Pale Ale ๐ฆ
10+ ciders: we will have a collection of traditional and fruity ciders for you to enjoy inside the old brewery

Friday
6.30 pm- LUKE BP, a talented young musician kicking off the music for the weekend with classics from the 60s all the way through to the 90s
9.30 pm- KNOW IDEA, a power trio performing 'kick ass rocking blues'
Saturday
3 pm- WOODEN STRINGS, our White Lion house band born from our open mic nights will be opening the Saturday with some upbeat ukulele covers with the back of smooth basslines
5 pm- WYNTERSMYTH, a trio performing a vast array of music from all eras, you may recognise some of them from our open mic nights
8 pm- OLD SKOOL, local legends bringing some brilliant rock covers
Sunday
3.30 pm- THE LOST BOYS UK, we've got the boys back to open our final day with some acoustic rock covers
6 pm- BAD HABITS, 4 piece covers band playing classics from 60s all the way up to the 2000s
8 pm- THE BEAT INSTITUTE, closing out the weekend we've got a brilliant Mod, soul and rock and roll band
๐ Food ๐
Our snack shack will be open all weekend being run by Daveโs Pies Catering with his pizza's, burgers and of course his famous pies
We've also got The Meatles joining us with the van on the Friday and Saturday with their great steak selection
We will be looking for additional staff to help out for the weekend so if you are interested please send us a message so we can arrange to give you some more information about it all!
