Some Details...

If you love the sounds of the 60's- especially the British "Beat groups" - then you've come to the right place. We play well known hits by (only) British bands in the period January 1st 1960 until December 31st 1969. All those classics you thought you'd never hear again are faithfully recreated by Zephyr 4 - 4 part vocal harmonies and period instruments to get "that 60's sound" . We are not a "loud" band - beat groups back in the 60's weren't loud, they didn't have the equipment to be loud - we pride ourselves on our authenticity - you'll always be able to hear the words above the music - as it should be - so we can perform "silence is golden" , "pretty flamingo" and all those fabulous Hollies, Beatles and Searchers numbers that had such fantastic vocals - where else will you be able to hear them? check out our song list - always being updated and added to!

Because we don't carry mountains of equipment, we can arrive at a venue, set up and be sound checked within 30 minutes - put us to the test!

But - if you do have a large venue that needs a lot of sound to fill it, rest assured we can accomdate you - it will just take us a little longer to set up. We use state of the art Pa equipment and lighting

4 talented and experienced musicians - playing 100% live (like they used to - no backing tracks, no tapes, discs or "phantom" vocals - you know those bands you've heard/seen and you wonder where that keyboard part is coming from when there are only guitarists on stage?) - Zephyr 4 will take you back to the swinging 60's and get your feet tapping to songs you used to hear on Ready Steady Go! and the Six Five Special.

We are based in Nottingham, England and predominantly work in the (local) Nottm area.
