Pillow Talk at Seven

concert for charity at 'Seven', one of the city's leading independent
venues, on Friday, 27 February. The line-up will include illuminatus, Captain Dangerous and Pillow Talk. All three bands come from different parts of Nottingham's music scene, yet share a mutual respect and admiration for each other's work. This event is thus a celebration of the city's creative community, aimed at bringing people together, during what many perceive to be a time of economic and social divisions. The bands also share a common social conscience and have already agreed to forego their normal fee and play for free instead. And we are currently in discussions with The Big Issue as a potential partner, in order for the concert to be used as a fundraising event, as well as a chance tocontinue
raising social awareness in our community.

illuminatus have had a very successful debut-album launch in May last year (UK release through Anthill Records), followed by support slots on the final
Ministry world tour (*C-U-LAtour*) in June and a UK and Ireland tour with My Ruin (*Religiosi Tour*) in October. And we have now confirmed a further tour with Breed77 and Susperia for May this year. Captain Dangerous have just signed a full album deal with Synchronicity Records (Universal). And Pillow Talk have long been established as "North of England's premier Easy Listening Combo".

The public profile of the concert is therefore looking to be significant. And we are already talking to the BBC's Dean Jackson, himself a big fan
of illuminatus and Captain Dangerous, regarding an appearance on BBC East Midlands radio. But we would of course welcome all coverage in the local
media, in order to maximise the publicity for this event.
