Newark and District Music Club presents STEVEN ISSERLIS with Sam Haywood

Steven Isserlis is a cellist with a passion for all types of music, equally at home with a recital, chamber music or on the concert platform with some of the world’s most prestigious orchestras and conductors. He also enjoys playing with orchestras of period instruments and giving concerts for children as well as writing books about composers for them. One of the leading pianists of his generation, Sam Haywood is a soloist, accompanist and chamber musician and has written the music for children’s opera. On the programme tonight are Bach’s Suite No 3; Schumann’s Violin Sonata No 3; Chopin’s Cello Sonata; and Chopin’s Introduction and Polonaise Brillante Op 3.
