TV STAR RHOD GILBERT VISITS NEWARK

Magners Funhouse Comedy Club returns to The Atrium in Newark on Tuesday May 26th with a very special show featuring Welsh TV star Rhod Gilbert (pic attached) who is previewing his new Edinburgh Festival show, “Rhod Gilbert & The Cat That Looked Like Nicholas Lyndhurst”

This is a major scoop for the venue. Gilbert has appeared on “The Royal Variety Performance”, “Never Mind The Buzzcocks” and “Live At The Apollo” and currently features in the Visit Wales TV ads.

Club promoter Spiky Mike said, "This is a major scoop for us. He is the best live comedian I have ever seen and is widely regarded as being on the brink of major stardom."

Support comes from fellow Welsh funnyman Lloyd Langford.
