Come and celebrate ‘Independence Day for India and Pakistan’ with ‘Rock on 2009’ live at Trent FM Arena Nottingham on Saturday 15th August 2009!

This all-singing, all-dancing event will see Bollywood’s very own rock star Atif Aslam performing with his live band! Having had several hit songs in Pakistan such as Aadat, Woh Lamhe and Meri Kahani he has also emerged as a successful singer in India receiving a number of Filmfare nominations. His most famous Bollywood hits have been Pehli Nazar Mein and Bakhuda Tumhi Ho.

The evening will also see playback singer Tarannum Malik plus DJ Doll playing the hit song ‘Kantaa Lagaa’.

Bollywood comedian Shakti Kapoor, famously known for playing comic and villainous roles, will also be performing live and since the start of his career has had many large roles in films such as Aasha, Khiladi, Aankhen, Judwaa.
