The Lily Allen Show at Forest Town Welfare

After the success of the first 'The Lily Allen Show' SINGER Sophie Green has found a fan in pop star Lily Allen. Lily is so impressed she has plugged Sophie's tribute act.

Internet-obsessed Lily has broken her self-imposed Twitter ban, and one of her first posts has been to promote Smile: The Lily Allen Show.

Sophie dresses in the pop star's distinctive look of prom dress and chunky trainers, complete with bling jewellery and blunt fringe to Lilys more grown up approach in which is seen in recent years.

Sophie is backed by a live band. The show is an hour long and the set list includes all of Lily's hits, including number ones Smile and The Fear.

The band cover Lily's old and new stuff, and even some of the covers she has done for bbc Radio 1's live lounge, such as Everybody's Changing by Keane and Naive by the Kooks. Also Glass of heart by Blondie in which Lily performed herself at Nottinghams Rock city.

My Mate Kate & The New Chevrons will be supporting the show at Forest Town Welfare in Mansfield.

The New Chevrons consists of two quality male singers, Marc Bolton & C J Gibson who perform songs from Motown to rock. Not only can these boys sing, they perform side splitting comedy that makes the boys No1 choice in the uk for any venue.

My Mate Kate. A three piece Indie/Pop/Rock band hailing from the mean streets of West London they have that instantly recognisable spark, the rock rhythm that was spawned by The Kinks, The Jam, those hard-hitting pop tunes that sowed the seeds of indie. Their Clean cut image is reminiscent of Paul Weller you can see the mod influence is strong . The vocals and tricky three part harmonies show a reasonable amount of talent. As an originals band they are focused on creating a unique sound that has the feel good factor.

More details to follow as there maybe a solo act performing too.
