Si Cranstoun is an original modern day underground superstar of the South London streets. His explosive debut solo single is certain to sky rocket, bringing a new dimension that harks back to the golden era of Rock’n’Roll back into the Pop mainstream once more. ‘Dynamo’ has an infectious groove and Si’s vocals are just too darn supreme for superlatives.

To claim that your voice has been inspired by the all-time greats is a promotion tool that many retro-styled singers adopt. However, if you put Stevie Wonder on after James Morrison or play Otis Redding after Paolo Nutini, you’ve got an obvious knock out in the first verse round… But, put Jackie Wilson or Sam Cooke on after Si Cranstoun and you’ve actually got a genuinely matched musical fight!

Si Cranstoun is much like the old bandleaders too, not only vocally but his passion for music also sees him write, produce and record all of his own tracks. As half of dynamic duo The Dualers (two UK Top 30 hits ‘Kiss On The Lips’, ‘Truly Madly Deeply’), Si was personally trained to the level of “Grand Master” in the art of songwriting by Grammy award-winning Graham Lyle (who penned hits for Michael Jackson, Tina Turner). Aside from his incendiary guitar and thunderous vocals on stage, Si prides himself on a high octane dance routine that crosses between Justin Timberlake and Gene Kelly’s.

Si and his band founded this fresh new project last year and have already sold out The Fairfield Halls and landed some major European festivals this year including headlining The Big Rhythm Rumble in Germany, and The Rhythm Riot (Imelda May), which this year will see him share the bill with Jackie Wilson’s son. Si’s band features some of London’s most revered musicians including Mike Watts on Drums (drummer for Grammy nominee James Hunter) and Stewart Pannaman on double Bass (bass player for American R&B legend Nappy Brown).
