Comedian, author and sports pundit Mark Watson heads to Nottingham on Monday 04 July for a democratically-selected date at The Glee Club.

Last year, via his daily blog - loved by everyone except Frankie Boyle - Mark invited fans to suggest destinations for his 2011 shows. The result is ‘Request Stops’ - a tour taking in 50 specially requested towns.

Widely regarded as one of the country’s hardest working comics, Mark will perform a mixture of old favourites and new material, experimental stuff and greatest hits.

TV credits include Mark Watson Kicks Off (ITV4), Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), We Need Answers (BBC Four) and guest host of Nevermind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), whilst he’s also starred in cult Radio 4 series’ Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better and Armando Iannucci’s Charm Offensive.

A respected author, Mark has penned a ‘year in the life’ following his quest to save the environment, as well as three well-received novels. A new edition of his latest book, ‘Eleven’, was released last week.
