Stand-up master Tom Stade returns to Glee Club Nottingham

Due to phenomenal public demand, one of the comedy circuit's fastest rising stars is set to return to Nottingham in May.

Canadian Tom Stade first came to prominence on the debut series of BBC One's Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow with his infamous 'Meat Van' routine.

Following high-profile appearances on BBC One's Live at the Apollo and Channel 4's Stand Up for the Week, Stade has now extended his popular nationwide tour for a second time with a date at Nottingham's Glee Club on Wednesday 30 May.

Glee Club comedy promoter Duncan Burns said: "We're delighted to welcome Tom back to The Glee. He sold out his last date with us in 2011 and it was a strong candidate for our show of the year.

"He's one of the best live stand-ups around right now, one to tell your friends about."
