Julian Lloyd Webber returns to Nottingham to play Elgar's Cello Concerto, which has become something of a signature piece for the cellist. During an interview with The Telegraph he said, "I have played this extraordinary piece of music many, many times, but its fascination never leaves me, and I always look forward to returning to it."
Nottingham Youth Orchestra is delighted to be hosting this return performance in the Royal Concert Hall, which features as part of their Best of British Prom Concert on 2nd March 2013. Classics such as Perfect Fool, Crown Imperial, Knightsbridge March and Greensleeves will ensure that this is an evening of variety. So come along and join us in a rousing celebration of British Music.
