The most extravagant variety show Nottingham has ever seen - The Gilded Merkin - is making a welcome return to Glee Club Nottingham, Sunday 10th February 2013. Featuring the very best international acts. Dress to impress and join the fun for an evening of glamour, comedy, music and more!

The star performers for this extravaganza include Kitty Bang Bang - the wild child of British Burlesque. A fire breathin', chopper ridin', rum swilling hellcat of a headliner, with a penchant for rhinestones, ballet slippers and ostrich feathers. Kitty is frequently lauded as one of the best dancers in Burlesque.

There's also one of Europe’s most in-demand comedy variety performers, Mat Ricardo. With his mastery in new circus and variety, Mat has headlined theatres across Europe, on some of the finest cabaret and burlesque stages in the world. Leggy Pee, this spoonertastic silent songstress and her little friend Charlie have delighted audiences across the UK with their unique musical cabaret act. Amelie Soleil, Britain's tiniest tease is a modern curiosity, fringed in music hall history and evoking a timeless beauty of unforgettable tradition. Also including Ginger Blush, giving classic burlesque a contemporary comic twist, Ginger bring lashings of humour, serious sex appeal and a side of slapstick to her award-winning performances. And last but certainly not least Em Brulee - a vintage jazz and blues vocalist, burlesque compère, show-woman and devoted glamourpuss. Em loves nothing more than to entertain, surrendering to the joy of the music and creating an ambience of vintage glamour and high jinks at every opportunity.
