Broken Hands at Bodega

Broken Hands are heading off on a UK tour this month, and to coincide with this they have released a video which was shot at their last sold out show at Sebright Arms. The vid features one of the tracks from their current EP 'Down By The Current', which is available now. The track is called 'Pulled Under'

Live, they are just insanely brilliant. I first went to see them play when they were mere babies, and to watch them grow and develop over the past year and a half has been so exciting. One of the highlights was watching them perform at Hyde Park pre-Rolling Stones. The atmosphere was electric.

They really do hold their own and having appeared at festivals such as Tramlines, Live at Leeds, Lounge on The Farm, Dot 2 Dot and T in The Park, they've won over fans regionally. Playing live is really what they do best, and having toured twice with Band of Skulls, as well as completing their own headline tours, they've had some brilliant opportunities to really hone their craft.

Broken Hands all live in Canterbury in Kent, where they grew up. They made a name for themselves locally by creating their own DIY shows in what is a picturesque and relatively muted area. They grabbed the attention of James Endeacott and Edwyn Collins who then released their debut single. Since then, the band have kept up with their DIY ethos and have released a couple of singles along with their recent EP.

Recently all four of the band have moved in to a house together to focus on writing and recording their debut album
