Whiskey Bob Shaker at Newstead Suite

We're hoping this will be the first in a series of village events to include gig and community café evenings.

This first gig will be played by Whiskey Bob Shaker: "A unique and wholly entertaining solo artist, Whiskey Bob Shaker is a master of bar room blues, ballads and blistering loops. Influences include Tom Waits and Elvis Costello, but the style is very much his own. Chesterfield based and bringing over 20 years experience, Whiskey Bob works the crowd like a master and always leaves them feeling satisfied".

The bar will be open from 7 til 11. Tickets are £3 and will go on sale online tomorrow. Any profits will be donated to projects that will benefit the Newstead Community.
