London Grammar Headliner's at New ‘No Tomorrow’ Festival

Promoter DHP Family has announced a major, new outdoor festival for 2014, with rising stars London Grammar headlining ‘No Tomorrow’ on Saturday 7 June.

London Grammar’s debut album ‘If You Wait’ made no.2 in the charts and was followed by a sell out UK tour. When they take to the main stage at Wollaton Hall for their headline set the trio will be in familiar surroundings having met and formed the band while studying a stone’s throw away at the University of Nottingham.

The No Tomorrow festival is expected to attract up to 10,000 people with a line-up focussing on ‘alternative’ artists and the best new, emerging talent. Boasting three stages of live music and DJ-driven performances the festival is an 18-plus event aimed primarily at students looking to celebrate after end-of-term exams.

Head of Festivals at DHP Family Ali McLean says: “We felt there was a market for a new outdoor festival aimed at young people with a passion for cutting-edge music and up-and-coming artists. The line-up will be fresh and eclectic, a real draw for music lovers.”

London Grammar will be supported by Sam Smith and Eton Messy with many more acts still to be announced. Super Early Bird tickets have gone on sale for £25 at www.alt-tickets.co.uk.

No Tomorrow is the latest addition to DHP Family’s stable of festivals. The company already runs the 20,000 capacity ‘Splendour’ festival; ‘Hit the Deck’ and ‘Dot to Dot’, winner of “Best Metropolitan Festival” at the UK Festival awards, are multi-venue festivals taking place in several cities; while ‘Everywhere’ runs in venues across Nottingham and ‘Gathering’ in venues across Oxford.

DHP Family has been expanding rapidly in the past couple of years and recently opened ‘Oslo’ in Hackney to add to its roster of venues across the country, which include Thekla in Bristol and the legendary Rock City in Nottingham. The company expects to put on more than 1500 gigs during 2014 and has artists under management including ‘Dog is Dead’ and ‘Indiana’ and is looking to sign up more of the best, new emerging artists.
