Nottingham 3 day Riverside Festival at Victoria EmbankmentDate: Fri 1st Aug Time: 19:00 Nottingham City Council are proud to be working with our title sponsors for the event, The Nottingham Building Society There's something for people of all ages at the Nottingham Building Society Riverside Festival. Relax with a picnic or experience a variety of food and drink from the stalls whilst listening to the wide range of music on offer, from contemporary modern music, to jazz, folk and bandstand music. There's so much on offer for kids too! From free facepainting at the Nottingham Building Society stand, to the chance to have a go at archery, cricket and ping pong absolutely free! Other festival highlights include FREE art activities for the little ones in the Children's Zone sponsored by Nottingham City Council's Fostering & Adoption Team, a Sports Zone with opportunity to try a range of Sports activities, live music stages, Street theatre, a street fair, global craft stalls, trade stands and a display of traditional steam engines and organs . There will be a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night at 10.30pm.
