One of the hardest working figures in modern music, Paul Carrack is celebrating over five decades in the music business. · Over the past decades or so Paul has worked increasingly in his own right on many solo albums; Blue Views (1995), Beautiful World (1997), Satisfy My Soul (2000), Groovin' (2001), It Ain't Over (2003), Winter Wonderland (2005), Old, New, Borrowed and Blue (2007), I Know That Name (2008), A Different Hat with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (2010) Good Feeling (2012) and the current release Rain Or Shine (2013) - what a fitting time to bring out a Best of that combines many of Paul’s legendary songs and highlights these greats. Paul recently played summer festivals including international dates and a run of shows in Europe and North America playing keyboards in Eric Clapton's band, who personally invited Paul to join his stellar band and had him as featured vocalist.
