at Lee Rosys Tea ShopDate: Thur 30th Apr Time: 20:00 BLOOD AND STONE: LULLABY FOR A VAMPIRE COUNTESS, is at Lee Rosy's a week on Thursday, April 30th at 8pm. April 30th, as anyone who's ever read their Bram Stoker will know, is Walpurgisnacht, mittel-Europa's answer to the Celtic Halloween -- and, in fact, my show is inspired by a true life 'vampire' tale that was a key inspiration for dear old Bram: the story of Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Bathory, who found in peasant blood a beauty treatment you wouldn't find over-the-counter in Boots. Hammer films and Julie Delpy have had a crack at the story: but here's my version. My audio drama version of Blood And Stone, still available from Wireless Theatre Company, was nominated for an American Rondo Award (essentially what horror nerds have instead of Oscars) and this theatre version was well received at the London Horror Festival and is now en route to this year's Edinburgh Fringe. But Nottingham gets to see it first! Lee Rosys Tea ShopBroad StreetHockley Nottingham NG1 3AJ (more) Would you like to see more information about Lee Rosys Tea Shop?
