Mimm and Local Motive are bringing together for the first time, two distinctive and incredible soulful singers Fatima and HarleighBlu alongside special guest DJ Alexander Nut for a night of live music and entertainment in an intimate setting.

Born in Sweden but residing in East London, few vocalist can claim to have worked with such as diverse array of musicians, a true testament of her capabilities, talent and versatility, Fatima’s list of collaborators spans the likes of Floating Points, Shafiq Husayn, Dam Funk and Teebs to name a few. Fatima’s highly anticipated debut album ‘Yellow Memories’, the velvet toned swede stuns with her voice, melody and a fresh take on modern soul. Enlisting the likes of Oh No, Scoop Deville, Flako, Computer Jay Knx and more on production duties.

Nottingham native Harleighblu combines classic yet truly distinctive souls voice with a love of bass and electric future beats, each new release from Harlighblu is revelation. Being likened to Erykah Badu and AlunaGeorge in the same breath; her highly charismatic style has been championed by MistaJam, who was taken with her 2013 debut single ’Enough Now’ that he crowns it his ‘Jam Hot’ single of the week. Since announcing herself with raw, beat-heavy souls of her debut LP ‘Forget Me Not’ she has been in national and international demand and we are delighted to be able to bring her for a night of incredible music at I Club Nottingham.

Alexander Nut had made a name for himself blending all corners of the contemporary music spectrum into a glimmering prism of late-night futurism. With a mutant of bass heavy sounds from hip hop to house to dubstep and beyond, showcasing a plethora of producers with a misting style of his own. His label Eglo Records (co-run with Floating Points) has fast become a byword for eclectic quality and continues to push the musical envelope with contrasting releases from Floating Points, Funkineven, Mizz Beats, Fatima and ARP 101. In 2009 Nut released the 8th in the Rinse mix CD series, which was voted no. 3 in Phonica’s top 100 releases of the year.

Tickets for Fatima, Harleighblu and Alexander Nut go on sale to Local Motive and Mimm past bookers and members before anyone else ensuring you secure your tickets for this anticipated sell out event at 10am on Thursday 30th July 2015 priced at limited amounts of £10 early bird tickets and £12.50 tickets (plus booking fee) during our exclusive 24 hour pre-sale.
