Blackmail Box came together in the final weeks of 2013, a deliberately vague advert for band members, for noisy rock'n'roll was posted on the Internet by guitarist Nick. Along came Ben on drums, Dave on bass and singer H.

Four individuals with different musical influences but enough common ground to work with. A prolific burst of song writing in the first half of 2014 has helped them to find a raw and dirty riff based sound.. somewhere between The Cramps, Nick Cave and The B52's!
