Lots of Laughter in Retford

Funhouse Comedy Club is back at the Gate Inn, Retford on Friday April 28th for lots of fun and laughter.

Headlining is Spaniard/Welshman Ignacio Lopez with his unique brand of sarcastic observations and witty lines. He gives his audience a taste of what it's like to be the outsider, explaining cultural differences with hilarious results.

Support from is multi-award winning ‘Kiwi’ Sully O’Sullivan. He won his first national award less than 12 months after his first attempt at stand-up and has been acknowledged as a highlight of the New Zealand International Comedy Festival by The NZ Herald and a highlight of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival by The Scotsman. Enthusiastically self-assured, his sharp ire and amusing playfulness draws the audience into his world, where they are happy to stay.

Completing the line-up will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self deprecating and observational humour. He personifies the taking of difficult, painful situations in living and turning it into great comedy.

Compere for the night will be the lively and affable Spiky Mike.

Tickets £19.95 includes pie and pea supper.
Doors open 6:30pm, 7pm food; show starts 8:15pm
