Waterfront Festival 2017 at Canal HouseDate: Sat 8th Jul Time: 13:00 Saturday 8th July at Canalhouse, Nottingham Yes, we're back, bigger, better and wetter than ever! Brought to you every year by I'm Not From London & Audacious Face Music, The Waterfront Festival is Nottingham’s favourite live band benefit festival. Our theme this this year is B Movie Monsters & Mythical Creatures of the Watery Depths so expect sharks, krakens, piranas and all manner of horrors from the briny deep, plus a smorgasbord of a lineup for you as always! Highlights this year include Hallouminati, Unknown Era, Doggen All Stars, The Most Ugly Child, Just James, Bud and loads more. The Waterfront Festival is a big Notts-centric party designed to showcase the best our fair city has to offer, while raising money for some great local causes to boot. We couldn't do it without our sponsors, so a big thank you to the following for their tireless support... Our main stage is sponsored by the ticket company GIGANTIC again this year, who have one simple aim - to get you into the events you love. From the hyped band in the back room of a pub all the way through to global superstars in the best stadiums in the country, and everything in between. Gigantic are keen supporters of the independent music venues trust and recognise that these venues are the lifeblood of our music scene, so we are especially chuffed to have them on board! The second stage is sponsored by the almighty Leftlion. Leftlion is the magazine where Nottingham culture meets. It’s been around for over a decade and if you’re a Nottingham resident and haven’t seen or heard about the publication then you really should get out more. Read the magazine and you’ll know where and when to go! Under The Tree are Nottingham gig promoters of acoustic singer songwriters, Blues, Country Americana and Jazz and will be running the outside stage. Tickets are just £7 in advance and £10 on the door.
