Oxjam Beeston Takeover 2017 at BeestonDate: Sat 14th Oct Time: 12:00 Yes its back for 2017 - THE LEGENDARY OXJAM BEESTON TAKEOVER! Its a fantastic community event which brings the town alive with music, love and good old Beeston spirit! This is our 7th year in succession and the takeover has continued to grow - If you've never experienced Oxjam Beeston Day, then you've never lived! On Saturday 14th October, there will be over 12 hours of live music at 15+ venues across Beeston (cafes, bars and community spaces) with a seriously eclectic mix of genres including pop, indie, rock, jazz, choral, folk, ska, punk, operatic anything really! We have a huge range of artists who give their time and talent for free - all in aid of Oxfam. Our full programme of venues and artists will be announced over the coming weeks. All venues are free before 6pm. Wristbands are required after 6pm (and can be exchanged for tickets on the day). Tickets are AMAZING VALUE FOR MONEY at £8 early bird or £10 on the day. Tickets can be purchased from Oxfam Books & Music in Beeston or online (including a booking fee).
