We’re joined for this Third Stage performance by YouTube Boogie Woogie piano sensation Henri Herbert, presenting his solo show inspired by piano greats Albert Ammons, Pete Johnson and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Henri is a piano-playing phenomenon, and one of the most sought after boogie woogie blues piano men in the world. His video of Henri’s Boogie has racked up an incredible 19 million YouTube hits. Following successful tours of the UK, USA, Canada, Holland, Spain, Switzerland and France, showcases at SXSW, two critically acclaimed EPs, live sessions for Marc Riley on BBC Radio 6 Music and Jazz FM and opening for Richard Hawley, Henri is firmly establishing himself as one to watch. This year he released 2 albums back to back – Live at Gypsy Hotel and Boogie Woogie Piano.
