"The Mill & Brook is a traditional pub that has a welcoming atmosphere and brilliant live music events. This weekly open mic night is hosted by Emma Bladon Jones, a very talented local musician who hosts many open mics in the local area, filming all of them.

This open mic is incredibly chilled out and takes more of a minimal approach. Acoustic singer-songwriters seem to take centre stage, performing either their own material or brilliant covers. The host Emma is so encouraging of absolutely every performance and the crowd follow suit.
