NEW YEAR’S EVE PARTY WITH COMEDY AND LIVE MUSIC IN RUDDINGTON

Funhouse Comedy brings a New Year’s Eve Special night of laughter and music to the Cottage Hotel, Ruddington on Friday December 31st.

Topping the bill is comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter and juggler Steve Royle, who came 3rd in the final of Britain’s Got Talent 2020 and previously performed as a warm-up act on the Royal Variety performance. He spent many years as the court jester at Camelot theme park and has supported Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour. His TV appearances include ’Phoenix Nights’, ‘Live at the Palladium’ and ‘Max & Paddy’. Amusing his audiences with his high energy and distinctive talents, there’s something for everyone.

Opening the night will be winner of ‘Dave’s Best Joke of The Fringe’ in Edinburgh 2017, the congenial and unassuming Mark Simmons has appeared on ‘Mock The Week’ and has supported Seann Walsh and Rob Beckett on tour. With his clever one-liners, amusingly intelligent material and warm disposition he keeps the audience hanging on to every word.

Completing the line-up is winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards 2016 the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity and truly impressive musical mastermind with hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.

There will be a Live music set to see in the New Year from Duncan Oakley.

Compere for the night will be the lively and chatty Spiky Mike

Tickets £38 adv includes glass of bubbly at midnight.
