Live & Local returns to Newark but this year the Palace Theatre will be hosting the annual showcase of the very best in local musical talent.
On Friday night, it's time for the third Festival of the Bands, when young musicians - all under 21 - compete to carry off first prize and the title of Young Band of the Year. There's no age limit on Saturday, as performers from across the district take centre stage to entertain with a range of music - see local press and website for details of the line-up nearer the night.
