What you see is what you get and what you hear is something else. In a culture where music has become a "fast food" industry, Syren has managed to bring back the art of songwriting with music that strokes your soul, entices you and gives you inspiration. These talented musicians are some of the best in their field & the band's live performance is second to none. The women of Syren have certainly paid their dues to the live scene whether it's playing industry showcases or "we gotta eat" local bars. Being in such high demand since their formation in September 2006 there is no doubt that these women know how to stalk a stage. Here promoting their new album, not to be missed these ladies will make it without a doubt. £3.00 door charge doors at 8pm Echocean INDIE ROCK The material played by the band can be described as Indie-influenced Britrock that is heavly influenced by our individual roots. The band has existed through several alias' and forms for about 5 years, most notably as 'The Giveaways' until recently a personnel change lead to a change of direction and a re-branding. Over the last 6 months the band has re-grouped, cemented its line-up and built up a new reportoire of material as well as going through the motions of a new recording undertaken by the band itself.
